East London charity walk – South to North – 27 August 2017
The Wildheart Foundation
Fundraising walk –
The Wildheart Foundation supports young people in Southern Africa to achieve their potential in a sustainable way. For our current projects see http://www.wildheartfoundation.com .
For this charity walk we will meet at 10:45 at the Cutty Sark in Greenwich (map) for an 11 am start on Sunday the 27th of August. The walk will take us from Greenwich through the foot tunnel to the North side of the river Thames and then to Olympic Park and on to Stratford where ample public transport can take you to any destination in London elsewhere. The walk will be between 12 and 15 km long.
We plan to use the funds raised from this walk for an environmental education programme enabling young people in Kwa Zulu Natal to learn about a sustainable use of the environment. Ulrike will tell you more about this project and others during the walk.
If you would like to joint us on the charity walk, please be in touch with Ulrike on uhotopp@gmail.com and raise as much as you can for the Wildheart Foundation. We can provide gift aid forms.
